I'm an outgoing kiwi chick who loves life and believes that couches are for sleeping on and hosting guests, not sitting on all day watching mindless crap on TV!

I love to travel, meet new people and hear their stories:

While we each sit beneath the shade of a hundred thousand different trees,
that line these streets marched upon by a hundred thousand different feet,
and we each dance to same drum song of a hundred thousand different heartbeats,
still to each soul the pilgrimage sacred, and the journey always incomplete...

When life is good....it's Fun.
When it's bad...its Funny.
With that philosophy you can never go wrong!

Seriously, I try to experience this life and appreciate everything for what it is, whether that be having the time of my life, or learning from an experience. I live by the laws of karma and I respect everyone for who they are, what they believe and the way they live their life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few people through my roomate, and have surfed in San Francisco and New Zealand. Camped with the Couch Surfers theme camp at Burning Man in 2010, out of this world. So many couch surfers, so little time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted and surfed both through this site and informally for years. Have hosted and surfed in Canada, San Francisco and New Zealand.Really enjoy meeting people who are living their lives to the full.

I love meeting new people, gaining new viewpoints, laughing until my guts hurt, taking photographs, drinking wine, making compost, growing vegetables, dancing like noones watching, reading, browsing alternative bookstores, writing and performing slam poetry, writing music, playing guitar, playing drums, playing the fool, chatting until the wee hours and spending hours people watching in coffee shops

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I feel incredibly privilaged to have spent three weeks on the continent of Antartica, 10 days of which were spent camping on the ice shelf. Santa even visited on Christmas Day from the other side of the globe. What an out of this world experience!

Music and slam poetry, I love to share both. I can teach you a few Maori songs, perform some poetry for you, teach you how to make a duct tape wallet or what to do when you drop your keys in a river of lava.
