About Me

“Hi, I’m Prajwal, I’m a software engineer who loves balancing coding with adventure. Whether it’s cycling through city streets, challenging friends in table tennis or badminton, or cooking up something delicious at home, I’m all about living life fully. I speak three languages and enjoy swapping stories and local tips—because every great trip starts with genuine connections.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here because I believe travel is more than just visiting a place—it’s about meeting locals, sharing stories, and creating memories together. Couchsurfing gives me the chance to experience cities from an insider’s perspective, whether it’s through a homemade meal, a friendly game of board games, or even a spontaneous match of table tennis.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books were my world when I was a kid, and Harry Potter was my gateway to magical adventures. I still love getting lost in a good book—whether it’s fantasy or something a bit more real. If you have a recommendation, I’m all ears!

Music’s a huge part of my life—I’ll switch from Avicii to Inna to some Hindi and Kannada tunes in the span of an hour. Dance beats are my go-to, but I’ll always sing along to Bollywood hits when I’m in my apartment!

I’m a die-hard Marvel fan (Captain America forever), and Lord of the Rings is my favorite fantasy saga. The Harry Potter movies? Not really my thing. But Shawshank Redemption? I can watch that over and over. I tend to avoid movies under a 6 rating on IMDb, but if Channing Tatum or Matt Damon is in it, I’ll make an exception.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year, I ran the GöteborgsVarvet, the world’s largest half marathon, and it was an unforgettable experience! The energy of thousands of runners and the beautiful city made it such a memorable challenge. I loved it so much that I’ve already signed up to do it again this year. Can’t wait to push myself even harder!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make a classic Chicken Biryani—with perfectly spiced rice, tender chicken, and a whole lot of flavor. Or, if you prefer something a bit more comforting, I can show you how to make a Chicken curry.

I’m always eager to learn about your local customs, food, and lifestyle. Whether it’s a local dish or an interesting tradition.

I’m happy to share the wonders of Indian culture with you—from our festivals like Diwali to our vibrant dances and music

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe in mutual respect and authentic connection. I’ll leave your place just as I found it (if not better!), and I’m always happy to help out—whether that’s by sharing travel tips, cooking a meal together, or challenging you to a board game. Plus, being fluent in three languages means our conversations can be as diverse and interesting as the experiences we share.
