I am a final year student of the five year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program at the National Law School of India University Bangalore.

I was born and grew up in Jodhpur, a small city in the desert state of Rajasthan in India. With its rich history, blooming culture and magnificent forts, my city is a tourist attraction for people from all over the world. The best thing that I learnt from the city is its welcoming nature. The people are very homely and affectionate and I have grown up with those qualities being inculcated in me.

After finishing high school, I shifted to Bangalore for my higher studies. The combination of being in Bangalore and studying at India's premier law school provided me a whole new outlook towards things. Having seen the warmth of a small city, Bangalore showed me the modernity of India's metros. Law school taught me to be open minded, to accept things you may not like on the first go and so many other life lessons.

And, now I am in my last year. I have made so many friends and so many memories through this journey. The best part about me is that I get mixed up with people very easily. It is easy for me to adjust with people who may be totally different from me. In fact, I enjoy meeting people with different mindsets and different cultures. I love reaching out to people and hearing their stories.

I love to dream big and then work hard towards making those dreams come true !

I am an easy-going, open-minded, friendly and relaxed guy. I am also a big time foodie ! Thought not a party animal, I can make for a great company for post work evening chill scenes :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to the world of Couch surfing !I have travelled a lot around the world, but, always in the company of people I know very well. Usually, my batchmates from law school. What I have somehwat found lacking is a sense of excitement. Or a feeling of an entirely new experience.

However, now, I really want to try something different. I want to get out of my comfort zone and experience the place from the point of view of a person who has lived there for a while and who knows the place. I want to make new friends and have a whole new experience.

I was introduced to Couchsurfing by a friend. And, I realised that this is the place that can offer me the exact experience I want. To meet people up close, discover what they and their city has to offer, have a good time, make memories and make some great friends !!
