Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Pranav! I’m a curious soul who loves exploring, learning, and connecting with people. Travelling is one of my greatest passions. I have explored many places across India and also had the chance to visit Georgia, where I immersed myself in its culture. Every journey for me is about discovering new perspectives, learning history, and tasting different cuisines.
I enjoy conversations about cultures, countries, and their histories, and I have a knack for remembering unique facts and stories. I also keep up with geopolitics and world affairs, and I love sharing and exchanging knowledge with others.
Beyond travelling, I’m a technophile, a music lover, and someone who often finds peace in watching the moon and stars. I adore cats, enjoy reading books, and consider myself a lifelong seeker of knowledge. I like to think of myself as an adventurer at heart who values genuine connections and memorable experiences.
For me, Couchsurfing is about more than a stay. It’s about cultural exchange, friendship, and stories that stay with you for a lifetime.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, travelling is much more than ticking places off a list. I believe the best way to truly experience a new place is through the people who live there. Couchsurfing gives me the chance to connect with locals, share stories, and understand cultures in a way no guidebook ever could.
I enjoy conversations about history, culture, food, technology, geopolitics, and life in general. I can share stories about life in India, interesting facts I’ve picked up from my travels, or even the latest in tech, and in return I would love to hear your story and see the world from your perspective.
What excites me most about Couchsurfing is the genuine exchange. For me, it’s about building real friendships, creating memories, and carrying experiences that last far beyond the journey itself.

Music, Movies, and Books
• Music is one of my biggest passions. As a melophile, I enjoy all kinds of music, but I usually find myself listening to hip-hop, Afro, techno, EDM, pop, and R&B. Some of the artists I love include Bella (an Indian underground artist), One Direction, Maroon 5, Coldplay, Charlie Puth, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Martin Garrix, Alan Walker, and DJ Snake. Music, for me, is not just entertainment but also inspiration and energy.
• When it comes to movies and shows, I enjoy both Hollywood and Bollywood. Breaking Bad is my all-time favourite series, and Avatar is my favourite movie. I really admire the creativity and vision of Vince Gilligan, The Duffer Brothers, James Cameron, and Christopher Nolan, whose work inspires me to see storytelling in a deeper way.
• Books are a huge part of my life too. I enjoy both fiction and non-fiction, and I often explore self-development and biographies. Some of my favourite self-growth books are Attitude is Everything, Think and Grow Rich, Rich Dad Poor Dad, How to Win Friends and Influence People, and Zero to One. On the fiction side, I love murder mysteries like A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, One Arranged Murder, and The Girl in Room 105. I’ve also really enjoyed It Starts With Us, It Ends With Us, The Silent Patient, Before the Coffee Gets Cold, and sometimes even romantic novels like Half Girlfriend and Fool Me Twice. Reading, for me, is a way to travel through ideas, stories, and perspectives.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I’ve done was travelling to Georgia, where I got to immerse myself in a completely different culture. It was my first international trip, and it opened my eyes to how beautiful and diverse the world really is. From exploring the streets of Tbilisi to tasting Georgian cuisine and learning about its rich history, it was an experience that left a lasting impression on me.
Another amazing journey for me has been creating my own open-source project called StayAwake. It’s a simple tool that uses technology to solve a real problem, and seeing people around the world use something I built has been incredibly rewarding.
Both travelling and building projects in tech make me feel alive, and they remind me that amazing things often come from curiosity and the courage to try something new.
Teach, Learn, Share
• I love sharing knowledge and experiences. I can teach you about technology, coding, and the latest in the digital world, or even random facts about history, culture, and geopolitics. I also enjoy talking about books, music, and travel stories.
• I’m always eager to learn from others too, whether it’s about your culture, language, food, traditions, or just your unique perspective on life. I believe every person has something valuable to teach if we’re open to listening.
• What I’d love most is to share good conversations, laughter, and meaningful experiences. Whether it’s cooking together, exploring a city, stargazing, or simply exchanging stories, I believe the best connections come from the little moments we share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my stories, experiences, and knowledge from travelling across India and visiting Georgia. I enjoy meaningful conversations about culture, history, technology, music, and life, and I’d be happy to share those with my hosts.
I can also introduce you to Indian culture, whether it’s through food, traditions, or simply sharing what everyday life in India looks like. If you’re curious about tech, I’d love to exchange ideas and maybe even show you some cool things from the digital world.
Most importantly, I can share respect, kindness, and genuine friendship. For me, Couchsurfing is about creating connections and making sure my hosts feel appreciated for opening their homes and hearts.
