I'm a happy-go-lucky guy, who travels mostly during weekends.
I am an ambivert and believe in Ubuntu - I am what I am because of who we all are.
My dream is to do a bike trip across India and Europe, and to one day pen down my thoughts in the form of a book. I also want to make an impact in the world by solving some real problems, though I'm yet to figure out how.
I'm finally excited to do an 89-day Europe trip starting from April 8, 2017.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While travelling, I have stayed in hotels, hostels and as a couchsurfer. However, my most amazing experiences happened as a couchsurfer and inspired me to continue as one.
The best part of couchsurfing is not only do I get to discover new places through the eyes of the local residents, but I also get to know and experience the local culture and traditions.
I'm also a sucker for new stories. And, the best stories I ever heard were either from couchsurfers or their hosts.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I listen to a wide variety of music from Beatles to regional and retro Indian music in more than 3 different languages. I also listen to Vivaldi, Bach and Mozart.
Movies - Very selected Hollywood and Indian movies, which I will be happy to screen for my hosts as I believe movies can give us a cultural perspective of the respective country and classic Hollywood movies, such as the those of Al Pacino and Morgan Freeman.
Books - I haven't been reading much for the last one year other than management text books. My favorite books include Lord of the Rings trilogy and Anne Frank's diary.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Getting lost in the streets of Amsterdam
-Watching dolphins and whales in Mirissa, Sri Lanka
-Being on the largest and fastest rollercoaster in India
-Drinking 15 different beers at Delirium Cafe, Brussels
-Learnt and performed 8 different dance styles(Rumba, Cha-cha, Jive, Rock n Roll, Pasodoble, Lindyhop, Samba, Salsa) for 2 years
-Visiting Ann Frank Museum after waiting for more than 3 hours in the cold
- Staring at Rembrandt's Night Watch at Rijksmuseum
