About Me
Prashant. Engineer by profession, wanderer by soul. 🌍
Dancer 🕺 · Choreographer · Graphic Designer 👩💻 · Sketch Artist 🖍️ · Fitness Enthusiast 🏋️
I travel slow and local — by cycle 🚲, by foot, by chance. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Nagaland to Gujarat, I've chased food stalls, mountain trails, hidden streets, and real conversations with real people. Not just places — people, cultures, and stories are what I'm actually after. 🫂
Every corner of this world has something to teach. I'm just here to listen. ✨
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We live in a world that's increasingly good at building walls — between cultures, religions, countries, and people who are simply different from each other. 🌍
I think that's a tragedy. And Couchsurfing feels like the antidote.
I've always believed that the best way to understand a person is to sit in their home — share a meal, hear their stories, see how they live. Not through a screen, not through headlines, but face to face. That's where walls come down and real human connection happens. 🫂
On my travels across India — — the moments that stayed with me were never the monuments. They were the people. The local chai seller, the grandmother cooking a dish I'd never heard of, the stranger who became a friend by evening.
Couchsurfing gives me that, but across the whole world. ✨
I'm here to celebrate our differences, not fear them — and to remind myself that no matter where we're from, we're far more alike than we think. 🌱

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Over past few years, I've travelled to all four corners of India — from the snow-dusted valleys of Kashmir in the north to the tropical tip of Kanyakumari in the south, and from the tribal heartland of Nagaland in the east to the vast salt deserts of Gujarat in the west. 🌍
22 states. Countless languages. Dozens of cuisines. Hundreds of strangers who became stories.
What struck me most wasn't the landscapes — it was realising how one country can feel like twenty different worlds. Every region had its own rhythm, its own flavours, its own way of seeing life. And travelling slowly, locally, with open eyes — that's what made it real. 🫂
India didn't just show me its geography. It showed me its soul. ✨
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm someone who genuinely enjoys life in all its forms 🌍 — dancing, traveling, sketching, designing, reading, working out, cycling, and cooking are all part of who I am. I don't just have hobbies — I have a lifestyle built around curiosity and movement.
🏔️ I've explored 22 states across India and trekked in all the Indian Himalayas states, reaching altitudes of around 16,500 feet on my 👣. There's something about a peaceful trail, crisp mountain air, and absolute quiet that resets everything. If you love the outdoors, we'll have plenty to talk about.
🎨 I love creating things.
Sketching, designing, artificial intelligence and it's future— I find joy in making things look good and mean something. If you ever need a design eye or a creative opinion, I'm your person.
💡 I enjoy sharing what I know.
Over the years I've picked up a useful mix of skills — artificial intelligence, fitness & workout planning, diet & nutrition, financial management, engineering & tech, and cooking. I love when knowledge exchange happens naturally over a conversation or a shared meal. No classroom needed.
🎵 And I'm always learning.
Music, swimming, regional cooking from wherever I travel, and local cultures — I'm genuinely curious about how people in different places live, eat, and spend their evenings. That's what Couchsurfing means to me.
🥗 I'm a vegetarian 🌱, South Indian cuisine is my all-time favourite, and I live a clean lifestyle. I'm a low-maintenance, respectful guest who's happy to contribute — whether that's cooking a meal, helping with something creative, or just sharing a good conversation over coffee ☕.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation is my default setting — but I bring a little more to the table too. 😊
🕺I'm a trained dancer and choreographer. If you're curious, I'm happy to teach — whether it's a basic routine or just the joy of moving freely.
🖍️ Sketching, graphic design, logo making, Photoshop — I can share what I know, give feedback on your work, or simply create something together.
🤖 AI is an exciting territory. I can show you how to actually use AI tools in your daily life — for work, creativity, learning, and saving time. Not the hype, but the practical stuff that genuinely makes life easier and more efficient. ⚡
🍛 I'll cook for you. Authentic Rajasthani dishes — the kind you won't easily find in a restaurant. Fair warning: it might become your new favourite cuisine. 😄
💬 Cultures, religions, geopolitics, philosophy, world history — I'm well-read and genuinely love a deep discussion over coffee. Open-minded, always.
💰 Not a lecture — just practical, grounded talk about managing money effectively. Something most of us wish someone had told us earlier.
⚡ I work at a thermal power station. Ever wondered how the electricity powering your home is actually made? Ask me. I love breaking complex things down simply.
🏋️ Workout plans, diet advice, fitness habits — happy to share what genuinely works, tailored to your lifestyle.
