Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find the whole idea of Couchsurfing very exciting. It is a great way to meet new people, share stories and experiences.

Getting to know each other is important, since that's the whole essence of Couchsurfing, which can be done over a drink or a meal or just a coffee, and it is not necessary for my host to spend time to show me around or entertain me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Pursuing a career in Life Sciences research.
2. Ran a half marathon, with just a months practice. (with a timing of 2.15hrs)
3. Travelled to Israel for doing PhD.
4. Going to SUNY, NY to participate in a scientific conference and talk about my work amongst the renowned scientists worldwide, including Nobel Laureates.

What I Can Share with Hosts

1. I love to cook. I can cook and also teach different Indian recipes. I have also learned to cook few Israeli delicacies.
2. I can share awesome stories about the science that I do in my lab everyday, over a beer. I love beer.
3. I can talk about Movies and Manchester United.
4. I love to run and workout, so I can be a good workout companion.
5. I am an Indian. I can talk and share things about my country, be it Sports, Food, Politics or Bollywood.
6. Currently I live in Israel and have also visited Bethlehem (a part of Palestine). I can share my personal stories and thoughts, as to what it is like to be in a historically significant place.
