About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Encounter. Learn. Permute. Adapt. Repeat.
PHILOSOPHY
I've never actually had a set philosophy, or maybe I just haven't sat and thought about it. I wake up in the morning, and my philosophy is based on the day. Now that I think about it, if there would be something I consciously try to pertain to the most, it would probably be the Golden Rule

Music, Movies, and Books
I've always found it extremely difficult to name movies and artist that I like. It always feels like I'm doing one an injustice by naming some and not the others haha. Let me try and name a few from as many different styles and genres as I can.
Music- Derek Trucks, John Mayer Trio, Dave Matthews Band, Miles Davis, Radiohead, Mutemath, Bill Withers, Remy Shand, Daft Punk, Metallica, And So I Watch You from Afar, Hujan, Pat Martino, The Roots, Common, Kid Confucius, Japanese Jazz.
Movies- Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and other Guy Ritchie stuff, In Bruges, Pans Labyrinth, Fight Club, The Dark Knight, The Wackness, Shawshank Redemption, Closer, Psycho, The Big Lebowski, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
Books. I do not feel like I read enough. I'm working towards it though. Hope to get a few books read during my travel. Some I really liked were, Catcher in the Rye, Vernon 'God' Little, Room, Hitchhikers Guide, Into the Wild, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time.
My favorite TV shows are Community, Boston Legal, Scrubs, Arrested Development, Game of Thrones, and Friends. Talk to me about these, and we can go on for hours.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sitting in a room with my brother and his mentor while they communicate non-verbally through the process of painting on a shared canvas.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you to play the guitar, as much feasible in the free time we have. Maybe some Malay, English or Tamil if you'd like. Also, a Malaysian dish or two.
I'd like to learn your way of life, and how you fit in your country and it's culture, if at all. I know that time would not permit me to grasp it fully, so I'll be happy with any learning experience I get.
Share stories, and hopefully memories.
