ABOUT ME

I call myself a practicing artist. I like to paint my stories, thoughts, inspirations from real life experiences.
I am fascinated and particularly interested in observing human behaviours that are based on needs, desires, relationships and things that happen around these in the world.

I like to backpack travel unexplored places (not the touristy ones), be on my own or have a similar frequency travel partner, soak in different cultures, observing and enjoying interesting conversations, relationships with people en-route or otherwise . I am not a hardcore trekker or mountaineer and would rather stay below, soak in thoughts, may be paint/sketch/write. I would still see the touristy places once in while with my wife with fully loaded luxury :-)

I sometimes adorn an 'activist' role that plants trees across the roads, design posters against what i feel is wrong to the society at large, participate in rallies, donate to the needy etc., I endorse NOT to litter places wherever i go with wrappers, bottles, papers etc., and I hate people who do that.

My personal activism reflects on my paintings and would continue expressing myself in creative ways that can enhance art appreciation, instigate intellectual thinking in the society and personally keep learning every moment.

Carnatic Music, Hindustani, Fusion, Folk music, Hindi songs, AR Rahman Tamil songs, Few English numbers is what I grew up on, although i listen to anything that sounds good.

I do attend concerts, plays, art shows in the city whenever possible.

PHILOSOPHY

Totally believe in LIVE and LET LIVE. Enjoy my freedom completely, yet with strong sense of responsibilities.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Through CS, I would like to meet interesting, like minded people. I am blessed with talents and have acquired skills which i think can be utilised in ways that I am helpful to the world and wish to be remembered by people for a long long time.

As of now with CS perspective, I live in 2 Bedroom Flat with one room for me and wife to sleep, the other room is my studio. I am not sure how I can help with a Futon couch in the Hall.
