Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in the foothills of Mount Manaslu, the 8th highest mountain in the world. After completing my high school education, I moved to Kathmandu to pursue further studies. Since 2013, I have been working professionally as a trekking guide in the Himalayas.
With deep respect for nature, wildlife, and mountain environments, I am passionate about sharing the beauty and culture of Nepal with travelers from around the world. I greatly enjoy meeting people from different countries and exchanging cultural experiences, languages, and traditions. Guiding is not only my profession, but a lifelong commitment to responsible and meaningful mountain tourism.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world and learning about their cultures, languages, and life experiences. Growing up in the Himalayan region and working as a trekking guide, cultural exchange has always been an important part of my life.
Couchsurfing allows me to connect with travelers build genuine friendships, and share local knowledge, stories, and traditions. I believe travel is not just about visiting places, but about human connection, mutual respect, and shared experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I enjoy calm and meaningful music, especially Nepali folk, Himalayan traditional songs, and soft international music. I like music that connects me to nature and mountains.
Movies:
I enjoy movies based on real life, travel, adventure, and culture. Documentaries, nature and wildlife films, and inspiring stories are my favorites.
Books:
I like reading books about mountains, travel, culture, and personal journeys. Stories that teach life lessons and connect people across cultures interest me the most.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent one month traveling across China without Google and without speaking Chinese—it was a challenging and unforgettable experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories from the Himalayas, trekking and mountain life experiences, and insights into Nepali culture and traditions. I’m happy to share local food, simple home cooking, and conversations about travel, nature, and different ways of life. I also enjoy cultural exchange, language sharing, and spending meaningful time together rather than just staying as a guest.
