ABOUT ME

I'm a very postive person (people who meet me usually notice my smile first) who loves to try new things and experience different cultures and ways of life. I was born and raised in California, but my roots are Fijian and Indian. I'm into performing arts, I am an ethnic dancer (mostly polynesian, belly dance and bollywood) and can sing in 7 different languages. I am always game to teach what I know and to learn what I don't. Dancing is my passion, but medicine is my calling. I'm in nursing school and want to be able to take the knowledge I have and work in places around the world that need help with staff and facilities. If there's anything else you'd like to know, just ask and I will gladly oblige :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a couch yet, but I like meeting fellow travelers and CSers through CS meetings and potlucks. I'm finally able to travel so I'd love to be a wonderful Surfer for a wonderful host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

About to Surf for the first time, although I've been a part of CS for a while. Love meeting and sharing stories with fellow CSers at our local meets, potlucks and volunteer events.

Interests

I have an eclectic taste in almost everything. I'm kind of Jack of many trades like my father. I enjoy being around positive people and I always say that as long as I'm with the right people, the place we go doesn't matter. I like to get my hands dirty and am a fast learner... maybe it's because I grew up with boys.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music and I play instruments and sing as well. I am an avid reader and I couldn't name you a favorite movie cause' I have tons!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm afraid of heights, but I recently took my brothers parasailing and it was so beautiful and serene.. I'd really like to conquer my fear and attempt skydiving!

The grand canyon in a sunset storm.. strange, eerie and stunningly beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have many things to share and I love to learn. I believe that once you stop learning, you stop living. I love to laugh and I feel as if laughter really is nature's medicine.
