About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To take everybody by the hand and lead them out into the rain.

ABOUT ME

I explore and adventure like I drink water and use the bathroom - strong desires, but it (usually) happens effortlessly.

In the choice between knowledge and understanding, I choose understanding.

PHILOSOPHY

People have some great reasons why. I live to hear them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm on a long-term journey across the United States, World, Galaxy, who knows. I'm traveling indefinitely on my motorcycle and trading good company, stories, knowledge, experience, and skills for 20 square feet of space to rest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I crash on whatever surface I can find, be it a car seat, cliff, couch, or roof. I have little experience couch surfing as officially through this website, but have spent many nights in the abodes of strangers. ..with permission of course :)

Interests

Whatever I can get my hands on.

Often my interests lie in the fault lines between labels of identity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching somebody relinquish their preconceptions. That's always amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've learned from others and taught myself a bit of massage therapy; have some decent photo skills (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29648550@N08/show/); I'm a student of the body - specifically I have experience in Kaikihara Aikido, Abada Capoeira, Judo, Chi Kung, Hatha Yoga, and a smattering of encounters with Kung Fu, Tai Kwon Do, and a bunch of westernized arts; I learned about motorcycle repair by tearing one down and putting it back together; I studied physics for 5 years. I'm very experimental in the kitchen with about a 70% success rate - when it's good, though, it's REALLY good; I used to be percussionist/drummer; uhhh etc?

I'd love to learn anything you have to offer. I learn like I eat.
