I'm a Ph.D. student. Love to play sports (started too late to be a star but not too late to be local favorite). Got good company. As a researcher, my vacations are short, so traveling is my way of making use of the paid vacation days :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I saw the TED talk by Tomislav Perko and thought I should check this out since I have a long term plan to travel to as many countries as possible, learning their history and politics, and to finally make sense of what is going on in this world (if at all it does).

I like as about any music. Preferences change with time, right now its ukulele. I listen to rap, pop, classical, awesome violin mashups, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stopped being bothered about society pressures to be academically successful and let go. Immediate result -> Most improved player award in the first season of ultimate frisbee (2 months into the game) (also my first competitive sport event).

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a student I live in a small 2 room house. But if that is adjustable, you can crash in for a week I guess.
