Overview
About Me
I’m a trans, self-employed and independent person
I live 2 hrs away from the city. There’s not much to see in the town where I’m from but would love to share how simple yet beautiful provincial life is. There’s plenty of beaches around neighboring towns and cities.
You can connect to me on IG as well @Loveiaga.
Update: I just recently moved to the city and currently renting a serviced apartment and I may be free to Host but is up for the building management approval so I may be able to Host 1 person if I’m not traveling, working and available.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To explore, learn new culture and meet people with different perspectives in life.

If you stay with me in our humble abode here are some things that you need to expect:
1. Personal Hygiene:
In modern times, while many Filipinos have switched to bidets and showers, the “Tabo” aka dipper or water ladle remains a cultural icon and a common sight in many homes including ours. Used for bathing and rinsing after using the toilet instead of toilet paper.
2. Food:
On a normal day, I can cook Adobo - A popular dish made with chicken or pork stewed in vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and spices.
If you happen to visit our place on a special day, we can try a whole roasted pig called “Lechon” often the centerpiece of the celebrations
Most Filipinos eat rice 3 times a day lol, staple food in every Filipino meal so expect rice everyday haha and I will let you try some sweets and other delicacies.
3. Tourism:
My province is a coastal municipality which is 2-3 hrs away from the city depending on the traffic. There’s not much to see but we have few beaches and resorts in the area may it be private and public. Also, we have Mount Capayas aka Tore peak - the 2nd highest peak in Cebu so if you love to go for hike, nature lover and up for challenging trails this activity is good for you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Fun, good laughters, good conversation and cultural exchange.
