ABOUT ME

I am Nick, personable and honest, so my friends say. Sometimes, though, I can be a bit too honest and some people may find that offensive, but only if they, for one reason or another, become defensive. Intensely energetic, I always have to be doing something in order to maintain a hint of sanity; therefore, I run a lot, work a lot, talk a lot, write a lot (just one medium I use to record my existence). I tend to be over-the-top about personal drama â

PHILOSOPHY

I live to live more, to evolve and learn, to love and be loved, to create relationships and watch them bloom and then die. Nothing lasts forever, but some things last a lot longer than others, and even some relationships last for an entire lifetime, but life is not eternal. Nothing is eternal, and when we die our person, our character is nothing but a memory. I live to walk the path leading to my inevitable fate, forever forward, concluding moments and beginning new ones all at the same time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Honestly, I just joined the CS2 project, so I haven't really had time to participate in anything other than creating my profile. I plan on helping build this community by simply actively participating in it. Soon, I will embark on a two-week journey around the western United States. On my trip, I hope to make valuable connections with other members of 'the project,' cementing new friendships and understandings so that I can further my own evolution, the evolution of others, and the progression of this communal enterprise.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never really couch surfed before or done anything of the sort. Everywhere I've traveled, I've stayed with friends or family members or in formal lodgings. This is a completely new experience for me, but I look forward to the joys and pains that it will give me, the challenges I will face, and friends I will make.

I love people, but more than anything, I love characters with distinctive personalities that they understand and utilize to keep the world's immense melting pot homogenous. I am interested in meeting, conversing, and establishing intimacy with more characters of the Earth. I also enjoy documenting my adventures and random encounters. I am thus interested in walking the infinite path and interacting with those characters I encounter along the way, just for the simple reason that interaction is enlightening, fulfilling, and damn-good fun.
