I'm a pretty easy-going guy, quick with a joke, slow to anger. I like to meet new people and hosting is a great excuse to re-explore your own city!

I like to read, play video games, listen to music, watch movies, go for drives, build things, go out for beers. I'm working on getting into mountain biking and unicycling.

I love spending time outside - doing anything really: camping, going for walks or hikes, hitting the river valley trail with a drink and good company... I basically just love to be outside at all times. I'm a lot like a dog in that way I guess. It's great to be able to explore a city on foot.

I have an undergraduate degree in philosophy and philosophy-related things and I have been working in residential finishing carpentry for the past 3 years. I can (maybe) hold an semi-intellectual conversation (for at least a couple minutes before cracking a joke) and also offer advice to the amateur or aspiring carpenter.

I live in an up-and-coming Edmonton neighbourhood with many bistros, restaurants, boutiques, and arts-related shops within walking distance. I have grown up in Edmonton and know what the city has to offer and what's good!
