ABOUT ME

I spent a number of years split between working on ski resorts, and traveling. Now I'm back in school and trying to adjust to a new life in a big city. I've lived in quite a few differnt places in Western Canada, a year in Peru, and now in Montreal. I am currently studying Anthropology and Economics at Concordia University.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to enjoy everyday, and live in a manner that is respectful of all, whether I agree or not with how others choose to live. I hope I can do my part in life to make the lives of others a bit better. I'm trying to challenge myself and find new life experiences and try out different ways of looking at things, try to imagine how someone else might see it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really like the idea of this website where people can get to know others who are interested in getting to know the people of where they are traveling and not just do the traditional tourist thing. I hope to one day soon have a couch that I can offer, but anyone passing through Montreal feel free to let me know, and I'll show you the limited amount I know, or am always down for a chat over a coffee or beer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meeting new people on the street and finding somewhere to stay like that is one of the rushes of traveling. I have to admit I have been much luckier being received on couches than I have had the chance to offer my own couch. When I was living in Jasper, AB I had the chance to have a few different couch surfers crash at my place.
