ABOUT ME

Summertime is when I thrive and you'll get my best side if you stay between the months of December and February! This is also when my sweet 7-piece funk band will be playing Aotearoa's festivals so you're guaranteed a party :) I have a great great bunch of friends who are some of the most open, warm and onto-it people I've ever met - and they're bound to become your mates too. I live in Island Bay with my boy Paddy and his Dad Joe. Paddy's a guitarist and Joe is an Art Director for film and for the stage. Although this is great for anyone staying with us it also means our couch isn't always available - it depends on whether friends from around this country are already occupying it.
Island Bay is a lovely little beach community on Wellington's South Coast. The views to the South Island can be absolutely breathtaking and for me it's the perfect distance from town (20 minutes by bus) - enough so that getting home after work really feels like getting home and away from the city!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Up until very recently I haven't been able to host anybody but now I can finally begin repaying the couch karma we racked up on our travels last year!!

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. We were truly blessed with the people we stayed with, in EVERY country we visited. Couchsurfing is the only way I'll travel.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Found Jack Black and Kyle Gass on the street and towed them back to my house for hours of smoke, songs and pasta! Fab :)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can tell you all about SWEET and relatively untouched places in NZ to visit! I've spent much of my life backpacking round my own country and i know some amaaaaazing spots. I can also tell you a lot about what bands can be missed and what bands HAVE to be seen. My boyfriend can teach you guitar :)
