About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world and meet all the beautiful and eclectic kinds of people that are out there waiting to meet me as well along the road. To be happier every day, and help and inspire others to do the same.

ABOUT ME

I'm a language lover. I work full time to make my dreams come true. I work from 9 to 6 and go straight to college to study to become a Conference Interpreter in English. I can be defined as a dreamer but also a doer =) I love visual arts (specially photography), and music of all kinds (although there's a special place in my heart for rock, reggae and MPB -Brazilian Music-). I am adventurous, and determined. In fact, when I was 17 I decided to move out from my parents' home in our little town and go to live to another city in Argentina called Cordoba. I lived there until I was 23 until I decided that I should live in a bigger city, so I moved to the gorgeous Buenos Aires and live here happily ever since. However, my nomad spirit is screaming out that I should go live overseas. My next destination is Australia. It is the country of my dreams!
I think a few lines will never be enough to define somebody, so I'd like you to come over and hang out with me in Buenos Aires!!

PHILOSOPHY

Be determined, work hard to make your dreams come true. Do not let routine or tiredness get in the way of what you believe in. Don't betray yourself. Don't give up the fight! Love everyone, but most importantly: love yourself, love who you are.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I registered in CS a while ago, but it was not until now that I realized it is an incredibly valuable way to really connect with people from all over the world, and to have the opportunity to show your own culture to others and to know other people's culture first hand.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm brand new to CS but very willing to join this amazing community and commit to it.

Interests

Languages and more languages! Even though I don't speak that many, I dream of being a polyglot some day (and I will be!). Of course, you can't learn languages as isolated subjects but together with the complex and interesting cultures and people that produce them (that is why I'm so much interested in traveling!).
I'm interested in art, specially photography, music and literature (I love reading!).

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots!! I'll name just a few:
A movie: Inglorious Basterds. Tarantino.
A book: Todos los fuegos el fuego. Julio Cortázar
Music: Reggae, rock, mpb.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think each person who step into your life can teach you something, not necessarily just skills!
I always welcome those who'd be willing to teach me languages (any, or whatever they are open to share!
I can teach Spanish and English. I can cook some tasty typical Argie food. I'm good at listening and giving advice (I consider myself an "amateur" shrink).
