Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big reader and I read all sorts of books. I am currently completely infatuated with Cormac McCarthy. Other big-time favorites include Louis de Bernières, Gabriel Garcia Marques, Jane Austen, JD Salinger and Paul Auster. I have read and re-read all the Harry Potter and Hunger Games books.

I am into rock (Radiohead, Killers, Strokes, Pearl Jam) and Brazilian Bossa Nova. I also like blues, jazzy stuff and some pop.

I love all types of movies, although am not big on scary ones. Some of my favorite movies include Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Das Leben der Anderen, Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As traveling goes, the most lovely places I have been to were Koh Chang in Thailand and Don Det in Laos. Incredibly laid back, they were the perfect spots to just be lazy in the sun, with the most glorious sunsets. Koh Phi Phi was also incredibly beautiful.
The most amazing travel-related thing I have ever done would probably be skydiving in Christchurch. I don't think I would have the guts to do it again, I guess that is just one of those things you do when in New Zealand.

Teach, Learn, Share

Good chats. Can cook a bit. Make great caipirinhas.
