I'm Indonesian. I enjoy reading, writing, eating out and most of all, of course, traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, at first it was because I travel on budget, but then it become a lot more than free accommodation.
Through Couchsurfing I got to meet new people and hear their stories.
And tho I never actually hosting (my brother's on CS too and he hosted fellow travelers at our parent's house couple of times where I use to stay on weekend), I think CS is an amazing outlet to promote my wonderful country, Indonesia, because we got to talk and exchange stories, experiences and references about travelling, and it's really nice to see that a lot of people started to know that Indonesia is more than Bali.
CS also enable my willing to interact more with local people while traveling. It's nice to know more from the local's point of view and real experience.

Interests

Traveling. I spend most of my time working, but in my spare time, i love to sit lazily reading good books, watching DVDs, cooking, and traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : Any Adam Sandler's movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Ocean Eleven-Twelve-Thirteen, Speed, Berbagi Suami (this last one is a GREAT GREAT movie by Indonesian female director, Nia Dinata, *bow*), Star Trek

But I enjoy TV serials much more than movies, I love Friends, Ally McBeal, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family, and currently in love with SHERLOCK (BBC) and Elementary.

Music : Oasis, Linkin Park, Suede, Maroon 5, The Cranberries, Coldplay, current obsession: BIG BANG! Their music blow my mind! I also love Super Junior, they're my first love in terms of K-Pop :)

Book : Filosofi Kopi by Dewi Lestari, Harry Potter series

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did paragliding one time, it was an awesome experience, really want to do that again.

Then there's this one time I went to Singapore just to watch Oasis concert. Stunning!

Teach, Learn, Share

I find traveling liberating. Especially when I do it alone. Here in Indonesia, people love to travel in group, I personally think it is fun, but it lessen your interaction with the locals.
