ABOUT ME

You would be surfing with a Globe trotter, Sun chaser, an Epicurean - an Indian - Food lover - Traveller who loves great enlightening conversations and I am a good listener (trust me its a rare skill too) and would appreciate active listening . I am a Software Programmer for a living. I love to experiment with my life and I know how to trick a human heart to show it some mix so it doesn't get bored easily. Some of my life experiments were success and some failed yeah but what the hell, How good is a mistake without a learning. So if not do's you can definitely get some don'ts from me which are very relevant in a global setting ;-).

Physically being active - playing a sport or working out in the gym typically unwinds me. I used to travel but not with a strict schedules but now I have planned to travel 4 times a year (Every quarter I am going to take 5 days off from work to travel, with weekends really its 9).

I have worked/lived in US and in Australia. I tried my hand with a couple of startups and have gained enough experience, yeah its been 12 years now. I always wanted to let the engineer in me discover the entrepreneur in me ;-).

I am new in CS, so I don't have any references to start, the only friend in CS I have is a girl I have travelled with through travbuddy.com, but Hey, every body started with no references right ;-), hopefully i can make some good friends here too.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Wildly important for me is to walk the planet before my time ;-). I have made good number of surprisingly reliable friends while trying to travel and travelling. Couchsurfing could help me meet up with fellow travellers or locals of where I travel. Programming is kind of hobby and passion for me. (it might bore lot of people but really checkout www.code.org , programmers change this world )

I am a movie buff and watch lot movies, as a part of french learning process have been watching french movies oflate.

I love uplifting music to hear during workouts or when I am running.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went through a course on Image consulting which is about grooming people who lack confidence about their attire or appearance and how they socialise. This is to make them socially positive.

I have groomed couple of small town Indian guys to be socially positive and they ended up fairing well in a Job interview. I would like to think I played a part in their lives and that makes me proud.

To me this is amazing not sure if it is for you !

And btw Mostly I travel solo and It has been a rediscovery for me ;-). I am impressed with myself lol.

I can tell about fitness, eating right and how to feel like a super star (yes you read it right). I give talks about Big data, programming and IoT in different forums. I can give you quick travel tricks which I learned over the years of travelling, like how to effectively use credit cards reward points to pay for your travel (at least for one travel). I would love to chat about m2m, IoT and Big data, I am Arduino and Raspberry pie enthusiast.

I would love to learn different styles of tie knots, cooking, how to ride a motorbike.
