Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Priyanshu Shukla, a travel enthusiast from Kanpur, India. After completing my MCA in 2023, I decided to follow my passion for exploring new places. I love visiting both explored and unexplored places, either solo or with friends.
I run a YouTube channel called "Rastey aur Gliyaan," where I share my travel adventures. Recently, I completed a 30-day Delhi Darshan Challenge, where I explored 30 famous places in Delhi on a very low budget. Now, I'm looking for my next budget-friendly challenge, where I can dive into the local culture and connect with people who really know the place.
I’m on Couchsurfing not just to find a place to stay, but to meet locals, exchange stories, and make new friends. I'd love to meet you if you’re up for hosting and sharing your travel experiences!
Let’s make some great memories together!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I want to explore places with locals who truly understand the culture and history of their area. They can share insights and experiences that I could never gain on my own or with a guide. Couchsurfing also allows me to build genuine connections and make new friends with people from different backgrounds. That’s why I’m here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done was spending a night and two days at a small bus stop near the road, close to Ganga Bairaj in Bijnor. Surrounded by wilderness with only a lone tea shop nearby, the experience was both exhilarating and memorable.
During that rainy night, I unexpectedly crossed paths with three bikers embarking on a journey to explore the northern parts of India. We shared stories, and laughter, and bonded over our mutual love for adventure. As morning broke, I formed a lasting friendship with the owner of the tea shop.
What made this experience truly remarkable was that I was only 16 years old and ventured 250 kilometers away from home, all by myself. It was a testament to my spirit of exploration and resilience in the face of the unknown.
