ABOUT ME
Canadian born, American raised, French obsessed. Looking to speak French with anyone who's willing. I like good conversations over coffee or tea. I like side streets. I also like plazas. I like cafes with atmosphere that don't have to advertise their atmosphere. My studies tend to dominate my life sometimes, but I'm really not boring, I swear.
PHILOSOPHY
I care about art and science and communities and people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted a couple of couch surfers in my dormitory back in college, and then I promptly fell off the map when I entered grad school. But I'm back! I'm in Chicago for one last summer before setting off on new, semi-permanent adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books
Margaret Atwood, Jeanette Winterson, Jean Genet... lots and lots of movies, but lately I'm on a Christophe Honoré kick.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's pretty simple, actually, but I went to France and saw the Atlantic from the other side. The first time that happens, it's very funny.
Teach, Learn, Share
I bake a mean batch of cookies. I make French toast. I love to help in the kitchen. I'm always willing to help with English language skills - speaking or writing or both. I can help with French too, but it's far from perfect.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, France
Countries I’ve Lived In
Canada, France, United States
