ABOUT ME
I am a pediatric resident at UCSF. I have two sons who bring happiness to my world. I live in a small apartment in San Mateo near transit to go into the city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to help people to have a better experience of the place where I live. And I always love it when others help me do the same when I am traveling.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I got involved with couchsurfing through my friend Nate Herr, a medical school buddy with a truly global perspective on life.
Hosting people gives me a positive feeling about the direction in which the world is headed. I hope that I am always available to host and meet new people.
Interests
My current interests include bicycling, photography, listening to reggaeton, dancing badly, conversing with old friends and making new ones, city planning, learning about other cultures, and reading the newspaper.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm fascinated by city planning. I am interested in how the environment in which we live affects whether we are sick or well. The decisions we are making now are going to affect how people live and interact with the world for hundreds of years. Recent books I've liked include Triumph of the City by Edward Glaeser, The Mystery of Capital by Hernando De Soto, and Death and Life of Great American Cities by Jane Jacobs.
