My Name is Katherine and I'm IT developer in Russia, Voronezh (I think u'v never heard about it before :) )

I´m an open minded person with a lot of interests. I like to be creative and try new things sports or handicraft things. I´m easy to inspire and if I catches fire for one thing nothing can stop me from exploring ;).

I love the mountains and hiking is one of my greatest passions. And so is travelling, I´m more intessted in landscapes and nature than in Citys, althogh citys can be very intersting to eseccially when someone shows you secret places.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I've seen a few countries (as I think), but always stayed in hotels (when I was with parents or boyfriend). It was good, but fairly passively. When I started to travel alone, I've started to stay in hostels, hung out with other travelers, that was cool and interesting to and I think more productively in the sense of meeting new people, exchange cultures and opinions.

But I think staying with locals gives you a different view on a country, you can see a culture and the people from a different angle. And you will probably see places and do things you would never do. It gives you the opportunity to change from a tourist to a friend and thatэs pretty cool

Musik, Filme und Bücher

There is no specific kind of music that I prefer. It can be a some electronic (like Perturbator, The Tundra, Dance With Dead or Faint) or some kind of metal (like Slipknot, The Browning or Meshuggah). Also I like pop (Sia, Florence and the Machine, Lana Del Rey and of course ABBA - they always cheer me up :) ) and indie (The Pierces, The Whiskey Hollow and The Neighbourhood). And sure this is not the whole list!
Besides, I'm not concerned on the music - it is even hard to remember group names, not to mention songs)
