ABOUT ME

Hello, I am a bipedal primate belonging to the mammalian species homo sapiens (Latin: "wise man" or "knowing man") in the family Hominidae (the great apes). I have a highly developed brain capable of abstract reasoning, language, and introspection. This mental capability, combined with an erect body carriage that frees my upper limbs for manipulating objects, has allowed me to make far greater use of tools than any other species. I originated in Africa about 200,000 years ago, but my species now inhabits every continent, with a total population of over 6.6 billion as of 2007. (yeah, that came from Wikipedia :P) My favourite colour is ultra-violet, I can't see it, but it's probably beautiful. I'm a guy from The Netherlands, linguist, now in art school, studying to become an artist and art teacher.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm open minded enough to talk to pretty much anyone, I don't care if you're a skinhead with a big fat swastika on your forehead or a terrorist with a bomb belt on. As long as you don't engage in nordic walking, I'm not open minded enough for that. I mean what's up with that, it looks absolutely ridiculous!

Music, Movies, and Books

The Fountain and The Matrix are my favourites, but I tend to like any movie that doesn't involve Hugh Grant, Julia Roberts, cops handing in their gun and badge, or car chases that result in fruit stands being hit making oranges, melons and various types of other fruit to roll over the streets.
The Green Slime, now that's a master piece. Look up the trailer on YouTube, it really makes you realise how small we all are in this universe. (hmm the trailer guy says they cause instant horrible death; how can instant death be horrible, anyway?)

Teach, Learn, Share

Will teach art and linguistics and Dutch for food! Well, not for food, for a couch, that should do.
