ABOUT ME
I'm originally from the USA. I've worked as a graphic designer. I organize a lot of the English-language comedy scene in Berlin, Germany. I also perform and travel a lot in Germany and other parts of Europe.
Interests
I love writing and performing stand-up and sketch, and doing improv. When I'm onstage I enjoy the controlled chaos and spontaneity of a live situation. I also like seeing other artists try new things and develop their voices, and try to support this as much as I can. Right now I am interested in intelligent comedy, history, new ideas and theories, and ways to bring this to the stage in an engaging, inspiring way. Part of my "research" then is traveling around Europe and other places, taking notes, wandering around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing on top of the Angel's Landing in Zion National Park in Utah. It's this massive spit of rock standing in the middle of a canyon. Scary and exhilarating.
The first time I came to Berlin. I'd never left the USA until then -- being suddenly surrounded by a foreign culture, language, climate, history, and the big grey Communist buildings was the closest to an LCD trip that travel has taken me.
Being surrounded by six feral stray dogs in a backstreet in Bucharest at night and being told by my companion to stand stock still until they left us alone. It took ten minutes, but they did.
