ABOUT ME

I'm a globe-trotting, fun loving, laughter inducing, positive guy :)

I Consider myself to be very easy going, and I love to have a good time and meet new people.

I love good laughs, HIKING!, snow capped mountains, funky and soulful music, good people, snowboarding, learning new languages...

My favorite place to be is on top of a mountain, whether it is on a snowboard or after a hike. I've also developed a love of photography through traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted several people back in the states, and finally started surfing myself in China, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

Interests

Learning about the world by seeing it instead of just reading about it! Traveling (obviously), learning about cultures by eating with the people and not in Western restaurants, being outside, music (both listening to and playing it), educating myself and others, movies..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to 11 different countries by boat, circumnavigating the globe with 700 other students in 2008 on Semester at Sea.

Skydiving in Hawaii at sunset over the ocean and mountains.

New Zealand is probably the most beautiful place I've had the pleasure of visiting.

Took an Alaskan cruise and was awed.

Drove from New York to California 3 times after realizing I need to see more of my own country before running away to other ones... though it's quite difficult to convince myself of this.
