About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Everything extraordinary is welcomed, I love diversity and what can be more challanging and interesting than meeting someone with a different cultural backround?

ABOUT ME

I was born in Transylvania, Romania, grew up in a little village until the age of 14 when I went studying in the city. At 18 I went to University in Eastern Romania, then after a year get back to Transylvania. I felt in love with an italian guy and gave up to my well constructed life and moved to Italy :).

PHILOSOPHY

Remain in wonder if you want the mysteries to open up for you... A little foolishness, enough to enjoy life, and a little wisdom to avoid the errors, that will do.

I hate when I realize that I could have used my time better, as I want to do many things in life. I don't want living with regrets of not doing things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the idea and I want to get involved, show people that come to visit Treviso places and things they would have hardly find without my help, make them discover extraordinary things that will last for a lifetime.

I love to see happy people, who have fun and enjoy life, if I can do something in order to make someone feel so... I will try my best. Also, I like to share what I know and my experiences with others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed once and it was a great experience. This project is just great. I had a lot of fun and met nice & interesting people. I have also participated to some local CS meeting in Treviso and made myself new friends. So far, my experiences with CS were great.

Interests

I love nature, I like to explore. I love sports, I used to play in a soccer team for women, of course :). Interests: Hiking, languages and linguistics, psychology, travelling, reading, computer activities, volunteering... a good movie from time to time, my favourite music while driving (and singing), meeting people from different countries... and trying to get actively involved in environmental concerns.

Music, Movies, and Books

William Gibson, "Newromancer"
Mainly read stuffs related to work, which is also my passion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited Sana'a (Yemen) few months before the war started and after that I spent a full week on Socotra island, sleeping on beaches mainly, under the sky, sometimes with light rain coming down my face and the goats waking me up during the night. The island itself is marvellous, but visiting it during the windy season, with wind gusts over 100km/h, it just added to it's wilderness, making everything surreal. Boats were not coming on the island because of the wind that blows for 4 months and food was very, very basic. This unbelievable island, the people I met there and the harsh conditions during the windy season has made this experience simply incredible, something I wish I can repeat sometime in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

To respect people and be kind, I like to constatly improve and give the best in everything I do. I do things with enthusiasm, even when I clean the floor :).

You can learn something from any human being. Each one of us is a Universe, completly different for any other human being. You just have to take the time to discover, to open yourself in order to be thought. I like to learn new things and to improve as a person. It's amazing how you can see the same things differently after experiencing a bit of LIFE.

I lived in Romania, came in contact with poverty but also with genuine things. Life is much better if you learn how to enjoy very simple things, there is beautiness everywhere, you just have to open your eyes.

I can teach you how to cook some simple and tasty italian meals, things about Transylvania and Italy if interested, pretty practical in IT related stuff, know lot of things about cats :), motorcycles and many more. Try me!
