Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the moment I don't have a couch but am happy to meet people wherever I am in the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed once and hung out with friends' couchsurfers a lot.

Interests

City walks, taking pictures, going to exhibitions, wearing secondhand granny cardies, dinosaurs, writing incomprehensible prose, eating instant noodles with as many sachets as possible, dancing like no-one's watching, singing like no-one's listening, Modernist design and architecture, hanging out in bookshops, anthropomorphism.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Jurassic Park, La Haine, The Fifth Element, Bladerunner, Entre Les Murs, um Disney's Aladdin

Music: Lots of bass and/or lots of strings. Stuff that sounds like London at night

Books: Fiction or non-fiction that helps me understand the world a bit better...anything but Jeremy Clarkson basically

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw the end of the civil war in Sri Lanka.

Teach, Learn, Share

Skills...ha...basically I can proofread and edit your documents and teach you English. That's about it. I can't change a plug or a tyre. I'm a reasonable addition to a pub quiz team.
