ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Nathalie, 29 years old, from Lille, North of France. Ok, now, what to say about me??? Except that it is pretty hard for me to talk about myself...
I could describe myself as curious about all sorts of things. I enjoy simple way of life, I love nature and hiking. But I also really like the life in the city and spend too much time in cool bars with my friends.
I appreciate to give some time to do voluntary work in different groups.
Otherwise, I like eating fruits I pick on the trees, bicycle tours through my city to go here and there, to take time in the morning, being socially “off for few hours, the lasy week-ends, the sound of Balkan bands and Belgian beers!!! I do not like to make choices, capitalism system, dog shits in the street, junk food and... these lists are not exhaustive and can evolve with time.
Some times ago I decided to go alone on the road to discover new countries, cultures, to learn a lot through experiences and people I had the opportunity to meet, and maybe get inspired! Now I am back in France, working in a NGO, teaching environmental education to children.
I like to move slowly and do not use too much plane. I definitely prefer to meet the locals and explore unknown places and go wherever the wind (or my host ;-)) takes me rather than follow the main travelers tour the whole time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mainly surfing but Actually for a long time I have done same kind of things on my own, surfing, hosting people, linking people travelling with some of my friends.
I finally decided to join CS to facilitate meeting people when travelling around Europe. And I hope to host more people once I will get back and get a home again!

兴趣

This year I started seriously to grow a vegetable garden and i love it a lot!
I enjoy meeting my friends, to have them for dinner or to go out for a beer, a concert or crazy parties!
I really like to be outside, to go hiking (especially in the mountain), to sleep under the stars and to ride horses (even if I didnt for a long time).
I am attracted by Ecology and Nature (to observe Fauna and Flora). I try to learn a bit more about the medicinal properties of plants and ecological gardening.
For some times, I’m interested by political ecology, downshifting movements, civil disobedience and alternative ways of life.
(During my trip, I really hope to learn more about such things! I started to look for eco-villages and others and I will take it if you have some kind of information, good plans!)
Oh, and I forgot: I love travels!
