Overview
About Me
I'm a queer Slav grrl from Melbourne who is California bound mid May 2015 for a mini holiday. Starting off in San Fran, heading to Portland, Oregan via Yosemite, Redwoods and North Cali national parks. Looking forward to sleeping on your couch.
I enjoy meeting new people, going to dog parks, patting dogs, meeting for coffee, brewing coffee at home (ex-barista), making food for others /dinner parties, dancing, picnics, cycling, hiking, camping, making crappy zines, learning about social history /museums /cultural studies /feminism /queerness.
During my previous overseas trip in the US, Mexico and Europe I loved using couch surfing for accom. I met some amazing people through couchsurfing, got to stay in great areas close to the things I wanted to do and was able to get to know cities a bit better through their perspective. I'm a super respectful and considerate house guest, with plenty of experience share housing /couch surfing / sharing accom overseas, keep communal areas clean, keep quiet when quiet is called for and demonstrate respect to the space you so kindly offer up!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now I'm travelling, so most likely it'll be me sleeping on your couch than you on mine! In July I'm back in Melbourne, once a new place for myself is sorted it may be you sleeping on my couch :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
New to couch surfing but think it is a great way to explore new places so have started amassing some experience! I have hosted a few friends for a few nights on couches and lovingly prepared mattresses in Melbourne. Couch surfed for 6 days in Berlin, Cornwell and Slovenia - met cool people, puppies and went to some great places!
