Originally from Ohio, where I lived for most of my first twenty-nine years; moved to Michigan, where I lived for the next twenty-five; and have just moved to San Francisco.

I have spent the better part of my professional life in various aspects of photography, but have drifted lately to actually *being* a photographer.

I have yet to officially participate as the spare room I once had was reclaimed by my children (by one, then the other).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have an actual experience, although I've fielded several requests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first trip to Paris was an eye opener in more ways than one.

Teach, Learn, Share

My university training was in photography and the graphic arts, and while I've worked in photography for most of my post-university life, I've coordinated the music for a local traditional arts festival for the last six years.

Still, I have begun to get back into photography as an artistic endeavour, as well as finding a bit work on the side.
