ABOUT ME

I live to fight the man and be everything that is alternative in this world...hahaha...

I think I spend most of my time in a state of confusion or frustration. I find peace in music. I see beauty in everything, yet I'm still a fairly pessimistic person. There ensues the confusion. Names have incredible meaning and depth. I am a student of humanity. I think I was made to be a nomad. My internal clock is about to burst from being in one place for so long. I am on a constant path towards enlightenment. I hate snakes. I love good food and good company. I have mood hair, quite similar to a mood ring. I was born in the wrong time period. Maybe. Probably not, actually. I love color. I love sensory overload. I love flowers. Necks are weird. I am now officially a children of divorced parents statistic. I have an awful time making decisions. If I was ever convicted of crimes against the USA I would want it to be for espionage. And that's really only because it's a neat word. I'm a rash person but luckily I have a best friend with some killer common sense. I like good smelling lotion. I love children. I'm a pretty tragic person. I wish I wasn't. I have a puppy that's really, really insane. I love my job for the first time in my life. I love my friends. I take naps to classical music. I discovered my inner self is a punk rocker. I discovered that I love being a health nut but still have a secret obsession with shitty food. I think I like living again. It's neato. I am like a really hard piece of cheese in that I get softer the longer you leave me out of a cold environment. It's a good metaphor. I mean it.

I am looking to move from my home of 15 years (Denver) to somewhere new, thinking Boston or definitely the East Coast, within the next year or so.

PHILOSOPHY

Do right by yourself and do right to others. As long as you live a good, truthful, and loving life, there are few other things that really matter.

Movies: Fight Club, Thin Red Line, New World, random Disney movies, Boondock Saints, The Departed, The Godfather series, Little Miss Sunshine, The Darjeeling Limited, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Fido, Anchorman, Jurassic Park, Thank You for Smoking, most Chris Farley movies....

Music: Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, The Black Keys, Gogol Bordello, Sufjan Stevens...(I have an extremely eclectic taste in music. Let's talk about it sometime.)

Books: Crime and Punishment, really anything by Dostoevsky (he's my favorite), The Little Price, most things by Charles Bukowski, The Walking Dead graphic novels...Some of my other favorite authors: D.H. Lawrence, Oscar Wilde, T.S. Elliot, so many of the ancient philosophers and a billion other writers. I love writing.
