About Me

CURRENT MISSION

save the world!!! And afterwards maybe conquer it.

ABOUT ME

i'm a person who wants to discover the world, meet new cultures, new people, new activities.. i think is hard to find a good friend, but when I find one i can give to him\her all my soul. I consider myself ready to try all kind of new experiences, especially the ones involving ADRENALINE :)

PHILOSOPHY

People make judgments way too quickly. Put the props down, just be yourself. We’re too obsessed with technology, phones and computers and shit, to talk to each other face to face these days. I like making connections with random strangers, interesting ones who want to change the world without becoming a footballer’s wife or a film star. Life’s all about meeting interesting individuals who you come across in ways that you’d never expect.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am writing this bit and I hope you'll mention something about this in your CS request... other wise I won't even take it into account. I am not new anymore.. i had some good experiences hosting, but I have never been hosted.. anyhow i hope i will continue meeting great people as the ones i already met to CS..
One little tip for who's surfing my couch: who host offers you a bed, bed linen, a shower, a bath, a kitchen, internet connection, washing machine, hot water, and everything else like lifts around the city, city sightseeing (at least that's what I do). In exchange I haven't ever asked anything, I do it just because I like to exchange nice moments of my life with other nice people... but after a few negative experiences i want to point something out: since i am giving you so many things, without even knowing you it would be really nice of you not to scrounge the restaurant bill or the bar bill if we go out together (as it has happened really often). I am not saying you have to offer me drinks and food all the time (which anyway would be nice after all i would do for my guests..) but at least don't turn your face on the other side when the waitress comes with the bill letting me paying for everybody with the excuse you don't speak italian. (The same would be valid if you would at least clean the room your are staying in, do the bed, make the dishes if I cook something for you) I don't think i am asking too much after more than a bit of hospitality THANKS! ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I had a lot of fun with people I hosted, they've taught me some of their traditions, and so have I done with them. It has been really nice to drink french wine, eat polish food, sing spanish or portuguese songs and so on. All of these things just happened in my living room. That's why I think couch surfing it's amazing.

Interests

Have you ever heard about "il dolce far niente" lifestyle? In Italy (especially in sardinia) we say we need just 4 things to be happy : football, sex, sun, beer (in order of importance).. (don't worry it's just a sardinan saying). I would add to this list going out all night long (just in summer when i don't have much to do). I also love to read books: I'm starting at the moment reading book in other languages besides italian and I must say it's a really fulfilling experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

If you speak with a man in a language which he understands, you'll get into his head. If you speak his own language you'get straight into his heart.
