Finishing college for starters, but I am not in a hurry ;)

ABOUT ME

I'm Dick de Munter, a student in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. A couple of years ago I've been hit by the travelers-virus and been exploring Europe one bit at a time.
Besides traveling I enjoy music in all its shapes and sizes. From metal to techno, from hip-hop (not the new US stuff) to ska. With this fondness with music comes great cost, visiting concerts, festivals and dancings and collecting CD's and DVD's.
Another hobby of mine is reading, preferably English or American fantasy and science fiction. There are a bunch of great writers out there, and I enjoy reading their work.
With the reading of fantasy and science fiction came my interest in Games Workshop and their excellent games Warhammer Fantasy Battle and Warhammer 40K.

Now you know something about what makes me tick, but you still don't know how I tick...
The best way is to find that out for yourself, but to give you a rough draft:
- outgoing
- easy
- laid back (stress is no part of my vocabulary)
- loner, but wouldn't be anywhere without my friends and family
I enjoy partying all night long, but I will just as easy stay in a pub all night and discuss the mayor issues of life as we know it (or talk about nothing at all ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment my house is open for anyone coming by and needing a place to sleep. Perhaps during the summer holidays when I have some money I'll travel around Europe a bit as well, profiting from this great network.

Big music fan, all kinds of music. Together with traveling these are my main motivation to be alive. It's great meeting other people from all around. I'm used to traveling alone, it's the best way to make new friends.
