ABOUT ME

Well...let's say, contradictory? But actually I change constantly (even for this statement). Hmmm... simply speaking, I treasure silent moments on my own, but also noisy and crazy times with friends. Sometimes I think I can't live without freedom, sometimes I feel complete only with the overwhelming force of responsibility. I love stability, but I find so much joy from being spontaneous and travelling rootlessly. But above all, I am never an extremist. I love meeting all kinds of people around the world - try to make my story not too repetitive and boring for my grandchildren!Haha

Ok, just don't make it too long. You will come to know me more when we meet each other :)

PHILOSOPHY

hmmmmm...Don't try to expect too much...Everything that comes to our lives is a bonus...?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed when I was in Europe for an Erasmus exchange and have encountered so many great people! And now I am back to Hong Kong, it's the time for me to contribute to my fellow CSers a bit :) But since there is a friend staying in my home right now, I cannot offer any couch :( Grabbing a coffee or having some dinner is fine though~

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far have not yet been a host. But having met my wonderful CS hosts, I want to be one! And, though it sounds a bit strange, sending requests to and exchanging words with people all around the world is great fun already:) I am always very touched when receiving kind message that explains why they cannot host me :) Oh yes! Profile reading is an interesting activity as well!

I never send more than one request each time, as I feel it so rude to tell someone who is willing to help you that "no, I don't need your help now coz I found someone better than you." I prefer to wait until someone rejects to send another one or at least wait for 3 days for a reply. If I send someone a request, that means I find that person interesting and want to be friend with s/he and know more about s/he :) I hope you are thinking like me as well!

兴趣

I am curious,er, no, interested in nearly everything, though for most of them I cannot handle very well. I am quite good at eating (esp. dessert) and sleeping though :p

And after all, I love travelling and see how people can be similar and different >v<

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Basically meeting everyone I have ever met and
experiencing all the things I have ever experienced :) But particularly, I am really amused to have suddenly found myself walking along highways when I get lost and wander around in Stirling, Scotland. Besides my amazing ability in getting lost, it is amazing too that after I come to Europe, I start to find sense of belonging to the same community with first, all Chinese, then all Asians, and ultimately -- when I climbed a mountain all alone and suddenly met a Scottish old man on the peak -- with all human beings.

I am not particularly good at anything, but I am willing to do my best to teach, learn and share with fellow CSers. Well, one thing I am quite confident in -- I can teach you Chinese if you want~ I speak it quite often -- nearly everyday :p
