About Me

CURRENT MISSION

listen to the whisper or wait for the brick!

ABOUT ME

I thrive on diversity: people, food, music, ideas, geography, whatever it may be.

I am non-traditional and a little irreverent, but very respectful of others, always. I enjoy intelligent conversation and good humor, daily....for balance. Humor is so important!!!

I believe communication, honesty/trust and respect are the three most vital keys to successful relationships

PHILOSOPHY

Always do your very best; Be impeccable with your word; Don't take anything personally; Don't make assumptions; Don't take yourself or life too seriously; Treat others as you would be treated; Be personally responsible for ALL your actions and remember that love is always the best policy (the 4 agreements plus 4)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music immensely. All types, live or not, and generally loud - from Don Giovanni to the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Ali Farka Touré and everything in between. I go to many concerts - prefer the smaller ones.

Books - read the classics when younger, now I read mostly non-fiction and poetry.

Movies - don't generally go to movies. Prefer to watch at home. However, I saw Avatar in 3D three times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailed for 5 months on a 50 foot sailing boat from Gibraltar to Turkey and back; Lived in Paris, France for 15 months studied at the Univ. of Paris; Sang a solo in front of 700 people - this was a big triumph for me; Learned to fly a small-engine airplane (no license yet)
