ABOUT ME

I ONLY HOST ON WEEKENDS! Extended weekends, from Thursday to Sunday as well! I don't host for only one night, and only one person. I don't have more space.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To share. I like learning new cultures and traveling, but have people from other places at my home makes me see with different eyes what's around me and I feel really happy to show people places and culture of this little paradise called Mallorca.

Interests

I love cinema, specially in original version. My favourite directors are Woody Allen, Aronovsky, Nolan, Amenabar, Iñárritu. I watch series as well, nowadays I would like to suggest GoT, Vikings, True Detective (1st season only), The Leftovers, Crushing and Black Mirror.

I am a beach ball master teacher, well, I am joking. Actually it's one of my favorite sports to practice on the sand of the beach, or even in the water. When I say beach ball I mean this kind of tennis played on the beach. Yes, it sounds ridiculous, but I have an unparalleled technique! If you come in summer, it is compulsory to play with me! After that, I will let you have a boring sunbath! ;)

When I travel abroad I look for music festivals, culture,art, museums and nature as well.

I am a huge fan of Dragon Ball manga. One day I will travel to Japan in search of Akira Toriyama.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock'n roll, indie music. My favourite band is Radiohead. I also like The Strokes, Arcade Fire, Blur, Muse, Arctic Monkeys... You can deduce the rest easily! I won't take you to dance salsa or reggaeton, unless you convince me with very convincing points.

The book that changed my vision of the world was 'Animal Farm', by George Orwell.

I am a cinema lover. Lot of movies come to my mind. Hard to pick only one. Randomly: Match Point, Nolan's Batman trilogy, Back to the Future trilogy, Amores Perros, Incendies...

By the way, the secret word is "Goku". Don't forget to write it in your request.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being a father. That's why some weekends I am not available to host.

Nowadays I am studying Philosophy in distance University. Quite amazing as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how is Mediterranean culture in Mallorca (gastronomy, habits, culture...). I want to share it with you and at the same time want to learn about your culture to increase my knowledge about the world.

If you come, my plan is to bring you experiences you would never know coming by yourself: exclusive theater shows, particular restaurants... Not expensive at all, but if even little money is a problem, maybe it's better that you look for another host.

I would love in the meanwhile to have interesting conversations about life, love, science (fiction), philosophy, politics, religion... They will happen. I am a very introspective guy.
