Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to soak up, as much as i can, what the world has to offer: go on a food trip, sample the local beer brew ,learn to say "thank you" in a new language even if I will sound really funny, grow old without regrets
ABOUT ME
realized the mortality of man and soul-killing evils of routine
wannabe rockstar
frustrated archaeologist
mad scientist (in the kitchen, with ~70% success rate. :D)

PHILOSOPHY
don't be a tourist, be an explorer... the road less taken is much more fun. :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i'm currently working in some remote mountain in the Philippines (true story, bro). Here, for 6 weeks straight, I get to channel my inner Tarzan, then I get 2 weeks off. I usually travel on that 2 weeks, but when I'm home in Bohol, meet-ups and couchsurfers are welcome.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
-met 3 new friends from Ho Chi Minh, and had a walking tour around District 1. Sampled amazing food and coffee on the way.
-couchsurfed in Bangkok, along with 2 guys from Indonesia and Russia. Got to explore Bangkok and Ayutthaya by bus and train. Ate in places where locals like to eat. Realized thai food is my soul food. Talked to wee hours in the morning about the sometimes-funny but nonetheless amazing diversity of the human language.
-gained a brother in Jaipur, blew my mind with the wonders of the pressure cooker. Like, what knew in the past is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak. Realized my lifelong dream of traveling to India.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach how to: swim like an islander, drive a motorcycle, catch and eat sea urchins (yum!), haggle in Tagalog and Cebuano like a boss
