Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a beginner in couchsurfing... learnt about it from a Latvian friend who went couchsurfing to Prague when I was not there... well, I've already done some couchsurfing for friends of my friends, but not through CS:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The experience I've had so far was in Galicia, Spain in summer 2010, Salzburg, Austria, in summer 2012, Sri Lanka in winter 2013 and finally Serbia in summer 2014.

During my first experience in Spain, I met a girl named Vanessa - accidentally, she cought a sight of me passing around in her car at the railway station in Vigo and she managed to recognise me by the photos she'd seen in my profile (incredible!)... and shortly after that we became very good friends and met almost every day during my month stay there! She's so great and kind! We keep in touch with her until now.

Then I also met some other fine people, mainly charming and crazy guy Alvaro!

In summer 2012 I stayed one night with Roland in Salzburg together with my two non-coushsurfer friends, and thanks to Roland's hospitability, they found CS great and created their own account:)

At the end of 2012 I went for a honeymoon to Sri Lanka with the greatest girl that I've met in my life :), and spent a very interesting night couchsurfing with Robert, Dee, and finally Firdouse.

My last experience so far is a night stay in an inspiring eco-village Zelenkovec in Serbia with Boro... who unfortunately was not present.
