ABOUT ME

I love people, spending time with my family, cooking, being creative, gardening, flowers, shopping, and traveling. Places we've visited: Kenya, Romania, Canada, Caribbean islands, and too many states to list. We still haven't seen the west coast, and dream of going back to Africa, and visiting new places like Australia, European countries, and Asia.

PHILOSOPHY

We base our faith on the Creator of the universe, who loves all people and turns no one away who is truly open to Truth.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I have mostly hosted. We'd like to do more surfing when our kids are older.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is a way for us to bring the "world" to us when our kids are growing up. We love the way they get to interact with people from many different cultures and languages. It's good for them to see that the world is so much more than our life here.

We spent 10 days on a cruise ship touring Caribbean islands. That was amazing!

We can teach you about Amish culture in our area. Even tho. we are not Amish, we know their language and have some practices that come from the Amish. Ernie can teach you about farming practices. Elmina does a lot of gardening, canning and preserving food. We raise and sell all-natural beef without antibiotics and growth hormones. I also love to bake and would be happy to share/exchange recipes with you.

We would love to learn more about other cultures, cooking ethnic foods, and healthy lifestyle practices.
