Best experience I know is to travel and get to meet the locals. Not for the accommodation but to meet the locals out in the city or on the trail when hiking.

Traveling creates the best circumstances there is for chatting or getting into really deep conversations.

About me? I work with software development and am that guy who's dying to socialize with others, but I still spend a lot of time with meditation and contemplation.
