ABOUT ME
I am a single mom of 3 adult children who has a physical disability. I try to not let it stop me from traveling, but sometimes I just host.

My 33 yr old daughter and I traveled quite a bit together when she was younger so that she got hands-on learning in the real world instead of being filled with textbook info all the time (Homeschooled)... Shannon is now exploring the world on her own in the Navy after she attended University

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have requested couches and I host couch surfers - even cared for a tiny surfer in my childcare home for a good part of 2013

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted a few world travelers in the last 20 years (many were found in other places besides couch surfing site) and had a drink or two with quite a few others. Life gets interesting when you add another person's views, especially when one of them writes a book about his journeys. (Steve Savage; EVERYWHERE BUT MISSOURI, MATE - with the sequel - OF WALLS AND MEN) - I met Steve in 2004 just before I became a Pioneer.
