I am fun loving chill guy. I love to travel and do not pass on with any opportunity I can find. I write poems and snippets as reflections on life but I don't have a lot of compositions as of now. I come from India and respecting the culture of other people is ingrained in my thought process as part of my growing up experiences. It's been 6 months I am in the states and I am still getting to know a lot of new thing every single day. Professionally I want to be a civil engineer and I am pursuing my masters from Virginia tech in the same domain.

I really like to connect with people on levels that go beyond surficial layers. I like to keep things as they are and appreciate clean places. More than anything I am a sucker for good music and can talk about it all night long.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing cause I am a student who mostly travel on a shoe string budget. I spend wisely and this site provides me the platform to stay for less expense. I am also using that because a genuine lady recommended me to check this out.

Favorites are The Doors, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Kinks, Velvet Underground..... and the list goes on.
All war movies, I don't like horror movies at all cause they are so adrift of realities, opposite to that view point, i like superhero movies cause well they are superheroes after all. Favs are The Dark Knight, Saving Private Ryan, ET, Harry Potter Series and well this space is way too short to write about all that I like.
As far as books go, I like Ayn Rand, Arundhati Roy's God of Small Things, Salman Rushdie novels and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have scaled a glacial lake in the Himalayas and found human skeleton's at it's bottom. No kidding tha place is called Roopkund Lake in the upper Himalayas in India.
