ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Copenhagen like a Buddha trapped in his palace, only to discover, when I grew tall enough to see beyond the palisade, that other worlds existed outside my own. Allured and afraid I skipped past the guard and ran into the early morning light, vowing never to return until I had seen them all. I'm still on that quest of people and places, of experience and knowledge, of self and other.
PHILOSOPHY
Your country, our world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I use couchsurfing as a means to explore the world from the inside out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed couches ever since that first big trip across the ancient battlefields of Europe in 1997. My first experience as a certified couchsurfer was my 2008 US roundtrip with fellow couchsurfer Kristian Nørgaard (read all about our adventures at www.roadsidediaries.org).
Interests
All the people I haven't met, all the places I haven't visited, all the thoughts I haven't contemplated, all the perspectives I haven't held.

Anything with a content that doesn't take its own form for granted.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was the caretaker of a pink castle on the Isle of Rhum in Scotland.
