ABOUT ME

I am a devoted yogi and student of spirituality and metaphysics. I love life, I love people, I love to help people heal themselves. I have 3 grown children (the youngest, who is a "surfer" in Atlanta, introduced me to CS!)and 3 grandbabies. (I go by "Mimi" because I feel too young to be "grandma")

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that we are all "one", connected on an energetic level and what we do affects one another. Live and let live!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We surfed for the first time in Europe and we loved it! We hosted a few times but since we are in the "burbs" we don't get many requests. WE WOULD LOVE TO HOST AND WE HAVE A REALLY SERENE SETTING, GIVE US A TRY!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had lots of people sleep on my couch (guest room) before we joined CS and it's great, as long as it's not forever! We were so amazed at how wonderful both of our surfing hosts were last year in Europe. Robert in Amsterdam spent a whole day walking around with us in the city and then took us to his home and made bread and an awesome meal for us. Wilton and Claudia in Germany fed us and spent an entire day touring and then took us on the train to Luneburg for a very special Christmas festival. Unbelieveable!

I love the Harry Potter series and books with a happy ending (or at least completion). I enjoy all types of music, especially International. (celtic, Indian, island, etc.)

Ahhh, there have been so many different types of amazing things that we've seen and experienced. I have given birth and watched women give birth, I found my voice and my courage well into my 30s, I have been to the Grand Canyon and traveled abroad. Oh, I was only supposed to list one!
