关于我

🌍 Hey! I’m Vladimir — curious soul, open-minded traveler, spontaneous storyteller, and proud part of the LGBTQ+ community 🏳️‍🌈.
Originally from Russia, now based in NYC 🇺🇸.
I love deep convos, cooking spicy food, and learning local quirks wherever I go. Always down to share laughs, culture, or a bottle of wine 🍷. Let’s make memories, not just checkboxes.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I’m well-traveled, and over time I’ve realized that for me, it’s less about ticking off places and more about the people I meet along the way. I’m on Couchsurfing to share this life experience, reflect with good souls, and connect beyond the surface. It’s those genuine moments — a shared meal, a late-night talk, a walk through a new city — that make traveling truly meaningful.

兴趣

I’m into deep convos, spontaneous adventures, and anything that makes me feel alive. I love learning languages, trying new foods (the spicier, the better), and exploring both hidden corners of cities and people’s minds. Music, books, psychology, and Middle Eastern culture are big passions. Also a fan of slow mornings, street cats, and wandering without Google Maps.

音乐、电影和书籍

🎶 Music: I vibe with everything from Arabic pop to 90s R&B, techno, and melancholic indie. Depends on the mood — could be a chill Sufi track or a chaotic club banger at 3AM.

🎬 Movies: I love films that leave a mark — think Her, A Prophet, Call Me by Your Name, Dogtooth, or anything by Tarkovsky or Wong Kar-wai. Weird, beautiful, or painfully honest — I’m in.

📚 Books: From Dostoevsky to Murakami, Gibran to Camus. I like books that ask more questions than they answer. Lately into memoirs, poetry, and anything about human nature or cultural identity.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I once shared tea with strangers under the stars in the middle of the Jordanian desert — no phones, no plans, just stories, silence, and the wind. It reminded me how little we need to feel connected, and how big the world gets when we slow down.

我可以与沙发主分享些什么

Good company, real conversation, and a curious spirit. I can cook (maybe something spicy), share travel stories, help with language practice (Russian/English), or just be a respectful and easygoing guest.
I’m always happy to listen, laugh, and make a space feel alive — even just for a short time. Wine !
