I am a bit of a hippy and can not resist the call of the thrift store ! I love to go exploring, so if you wanna go on a hike don't forget to invite me ! I love being in nature seeing new things. I like to sit in the nooks of trees.

I have surfed while studying abroad in Australia and hope to begin my hosting experience as soon as I can get my own apartment.

Interessen

I am interested in traveling of course! Backpacking and hiking are my main passions, anything outdoors really - rock climbing, white water kayaking, camping.. well you get the idea. I also practice a defensive based martial art called Aikido, adore live music of any kind and cant pass up a good party.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I absolutely adore music of any genre but tend towards reggae, alternative and classic rock and am always looking to expand my music library! Right now I am particularly in to Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Cat Empire and Jack Johnson. As far as movies go I definitely enjoy comedies above all, I just love to laugh. Some of my favorite movies of all time include Shaun of the Dead and Superbad. I worked in a library for a long time so am very fond of books, although I usually dont seem to find time to read between uni and social life.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have been lucky enough to see Canada, Australia and a large portion of Europe so far as well as having been all over the U.S. I think one of my most memorably experiences is seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time by night.
